Thanksgiving break picture post

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week!  John's family came to stay with us for the week, and we had such a great time.  We celebrated a baptism (see previous post), we went to Zoo Lights, some of us went to College Station for the LSU/A&M football game, some of us celebrated Thanksgiving at Mumsie and Popsie's, we celebrated John's 31st birthday, and we did a lot of lounging around.  Here are some photos from our fun week!

Every year, we take a picture of the LSU boys with their Aggie girls at the rivalry game.  They still took the pic this year even though I couldn't make it. :)

We went to Karbach Brewery for John's birthday with both sides of the family:

Baptism

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11

Perry Frances was baptized on November 20th, 2016 at The Journey, Memorial Drive United Methodist Church.  It was an incredibly special day as we dedicated our baby girl to the Lord and ourselves to raise her in the Church.  It is overwhelming to think that God trusted us to be her parents!  We are so thankful for her!

Both sides of Perry's family were there, which made the day extra special!  John's parents and Peter, my mom and dad, Brittany, Chris, Reid, Georgia Kate, and Rhett were all in attendance (Joe and Thomas weren't able to make it).

My mom made her beautiful dress.  I love my baby girl in blue!  Here is a closer look.

God bless you, Perry Frances!!!

Halloween

Happy Halloween!!!

Halloween has never been our favorite holiday around here, but having Perry makes everything more fun!!  Perry dressed up as a bunny rabbit, thanks to her cousin Georgia Kate.  I love having all of Peach's cute hand-me-downs.  That is definitely a perk of being the second child to have kids. :)

We went to the Sciba's house for a little while on Halloween night.  Reid, Georgia Kate, Rhett, and their friends went trick-or-treating, while we stayed back at the house and passed out candy with the grandparents, Sharon, and Tiffany.  It was a wonderful first Halloween for Pear Bear!!

This picture makes me laugh because GK is like, "I'm over this, so I'm going to close my eyes so people will stop looking at me."

Here is Perry in her Halloween jammies and bib from Grandma and Grandpa!

We love our sweet little bunny!
