December update

December was full of fun activities to celebrate the season! {Let's pretend like Christmas hasn't come and gone...I'm a little behind on blogging!}

First of all, it SNOWED in Houston!

We went to see Christmas lights in River Oaks with Alex, Ellen, and Aria.  The girls had such a great time together in the wagon!

We went to Santa's Wonderland with the Preston clan!  We walked around the village, ate, and took a horse and carriage ride through the beautiful lights.  Fun!

We had our annual Christmas Party with "John's friends" (who are my friends too :).  We hosted this year!  We love this group!

We saw Santa!  It was a bit less successful than last year, but not a complete failure.

We went to see the train display at Second Baptist church with Perry's cuzzies!

We had our annual Christmas lunch at Brookwood with the Myers girls!  Love these girls and this tradition.

We had a wonderful December!  It gets more and more fun to do things with Perry as she gets older and can enjoy it more, especially around the holidays. :)

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week!

John's family was in town all week.  The night before Thanksgiving, we all went to Zoo Lights!  Despite the massive crowds, we had a great time, and I think Perry enjoyed seeing all of the lights!

John and I hosted our first holiday celebration, and it included both sides of our family!

The whole crew...

We have so much to be thankful for! :)

Halloween

Happy Halloween!

John was in Canada for Halloween, but Perry and I had a fun day anyway!  We had Little Gym in the morning, then went to my sister's house after naptime for some fun and trick-or-treating!  Perry wore Georgia Kate's old costume, a pink poodle.  She was the cutest little poodle I've ever seen!

When the night was over, we headed home to watch some Astros baseball!  And the following night, THEY WON THE WORLD SERIES!!!!!!!

And just for fun, here is a comparison of Perry from last year's Halloween, 4 months vs. 16 months. :)

Zoo Boo and more pumpkins!

We took Perry to Zoo Boo over the weekend!  The weather was perfect, and we had so much fun!  One of my favorite things about Perry is how much she loves music and dancing.  There was a DJ playing Disney songs at the front, and Perry immediately ran over to him and starting dancing! :)

A couple of weeks ago, Perry and I went to a pumpkin patch with our friends Ellen and Aria and got some precious pictures of our girls!

We are soaking up fall with our little pumpkin!!
