Hi! It's been a minute! We have lots to catch up on! Fall has come and gone, and I will do my best to capture the highlights.
Ok, this didn't happen in the fall, but we did make a pandemic trip to Milwaukee back in July. We spent a couple days up at the cottage and enjoyed some gorgeous weather away from the sweltering heat.
Perry went back to school! She is in the Elephant class this year with the best teachers. AND, she is back in the same class with her bestie cousin. :) Pandemic preschool is almost the same as regular preschool, and for that we are thankful. We chose to keep Luke home another year, and I am really cherishing this time with him.
The kids each started fall activities! Perry went back to ballet, which she loves. She is also doing swim lessons. Luke and I started back at Little Gym. He loves it!
We made our annual visit to Blessington Farms. This is one of our favorite fall things to do!
We visited the pumpkin patch with the Morris girls, and it was the best to have all of our pumpkins together! They are such special friends.
We spent time with friends - very thankful for this during this crazy pandemic! - including a weekend at the bay with the Mears, a couple sleepovers with the Boudreauxs, hosting a drive-by baby shower for my friend Sara, lots of Annie hangs, and a weekend in Fort Worth with old friends.
Halloween was so much fun this year! Perry went as Little Bo Peep for nursery rhyme day at school earlier that week. We went to a little socially-distanced Halloween party at the park the day before. Then we carved pumpkins and went trick-or-treating with cousins. Tinkerbell and baseball boy (Jimmy Dugan) had the best time!
We hosted our annual Friendsgiving with "John's friends", covid-style. We were mostly socially distanced outside, except for this picture. ;)
We celebrated birthdays, including John's 35th! We celebrated Rebecca, Rhett, and John at my parents' house the weekend before Thanksgiving. John's family was in town on his actual birthday. We celebrated with special donuts, went to Top Golf with his brothers, and went to dinner at El Ranchero for his favorite margarita!
And I'll end with some random pictures from the last few months...
We spent Thanksgiving week with John's family in town! I may do a blog on that...but my mind has been moved on to Christmas for weeks!!! Ho Ho Ho!
