It was a Holly Jolly Christmas!

Christmas always seems to FLY past me!  Here we are at the end of January, and I still don't feel like we're quite back in a normal routine yet.  Am I the only one who feels like January feels short?!  Anyway, Christmas 2019 was absolutely wonderful!  The kids were at such fun ages this year for John and I to sit back and enjoy Christmas through their eyes. 

We spent Christmas Eve at my parents' house with church, cookie decorating, game playing, eating, and present opening.  Perfect and joyful day!

Christmas morning, Santa came and we spent the morning playing with their fun loot!

We had a 6pm flight on Christmas night to head to Milwaukee to see the Lodde fam for more celebrating.  We got to celebrate Christmas again, saw extended family, went to the zoo, went to the children's museum, and saw some of John's old friends.  Perry even got to see snow...for 5 minutes on the morning we left. ;)

A merry Christmas it was!

We were up to LOTS of fun Decembery things, and I'll do my best to recap!

We went to Santa's Wonderland!  The kids loved it so much.  Thanks, Mumsie and Popsie!

We met Santa!  Well, Luke did. ;)  The other one wasn't having it.  Hah!

Perry had her Christmas performance at school. 

Perry had her first dance recital!  We were SO proud of our little dancer!  She stole the show!

We had our annual Christmas party with friends.

We had our annual Christmas lights adventure with the Boudreauxs.

Perry and I, Brittany and Georgia Kate, and Mumsie went to the Teddy Bear Tea!  This was our second year, and it's just the most precious thing ever.

November recap

Here is our November highlight reel, according to my iPhone camera. :)

November started out with a completely spontaneous weekend trip to NYC with my friend Crossley.  We had a blast, and what a treat it was!

We celebrated Rhett's birthday!  We also celebrated Rebecca and John's birthdays in November, but no festive pictures were taken. :(

We survived the stomach bug (while daddy was out of town). 

We took Perry see her first movie in a movie theater - Frozen 2!

We hosted Thanksgiving at our house with the Preston and Lodde sides of the family!

We enjoyed a weeklong visit with John's parents and brothers.
