Luke is 4 months!

Happy 4 months to our sweet baby boy!

Weight: 15 lb. 6 oz. (48%)
Height: 26.5 in. (95%)
Head: 17 in. (90%)

So far, Lukey is turning out to be tall and thin, just like sissy and daddy!

He is just so, so precious.  He has changed a LOT this month!  He has found his voice, "talks" a lot more, smiles more, and has started giggling!  He's really ticklish under his neck. :)  He has rolled over a few times from back to tummy, and only once or twice from tummy to back.  He beck and legs are getting much stronger, and he loves "standing" when we hold him.  We pulled out a couple new toys this month, including the "music machine" and joovy walker.  He's a fan!  He is getting better at grabbing toys.  He constantly chews on his hands.  He started blowing raspberries and making lots of noises with his lips.  See?  So many new tricks and exciting changes!

His naps are getting better!  He takes 3 naps, and sometimes an evening cat nap, but he's starting to outgrow that.  His night sleep is getting better, I think?  Hah!  It's all a blur, and he's still very inconsistent.  I've been feeding him once most nights, but some nights he'll wake up 3 times and go back to sleep with a paci.  He eats 5 times during the day and gets a bottle every night before bed.  We aren't on a perfect schedule, but our routine is definitely shaping up!

Here are a few pictures of Luke from the last month...

He's just so cute, and we are all so in love with him!!

Fall fun

What we've been up to this fall...

We cheered on our football teams!

Real life...the only picture I could get with both kids in Aggie gear.

We went to our neighborhood fall festival, and Perry enjoyed petting the bunny and riding a pony!

I attempted some pictures with the pumpkins on our front porch, and this is how they went...

I also attempted a picture at our preschool's 40th birthday bash, and this is how it went...

Perry had a firetruck visit at school.

We cheered on the Astros and Brewers in the playoffs!

We baked cookies a couple times, and Perry has fallen in love with helping in the kitchen!

We went to Blessington Farms with Ahma while daddy was in Australia.  I didn't take many pictures, but Perry had a blast on the slides, swings, hay, and more!

We went to the zoo, twice...

And we spent lots of days just playing!

It's been a great fall so far!  And just because I love my babies and this picture, I'll leave you with this. :)

Perry and Rhett

These two are the BEST of friends!  How cute are they?!  Perry always says "Rhett is my cousin AAAAAND my friend!"

We are so lucky to live down the street and go to the same preschool so they can see each other so often (and for many other reasons)!  Love them so much!!

Halloween

Perry went to preschool on Halloween, and they had nursery rhyme day at school.

We went to my sister's house on Halloween night with all of the family, had pizza, and went trick-or-treating.  Daddy was in Australia for a work trip, but Ahma was in town to fill in.  Perry had a blast running around and trying to keep up with her cousins!  She was so excited!  With a newborn at home, I just didn't give much thought into costumes this year.  Perry said she wanted to be a "purple princess", so that's what she was, and she was thrilled.  Luke was a bear and wore a hand-me-down costume from Reid.

Halloween is starting to get fun now that Perry is old enough to enjoy it! :)
