What a wonderful and magical Christmas we had! The kids are at such fun ages for Christmas, in my opinion. This is the first year Luke has gotten excited and understood the idea of Christmas, even though it was mostly about the presents. ;)
Christmas Eve morning, we went to my parents' around 10:30 and stayed all day. We streamed the Christmas Eve service - very strange and very 2020 to not go to church in person. But it was still sweet, and all of the kids enjoyed watching. The rest of the day was spent decorating cookies, playing, relaxing, eating, and opening presents! We were all spoiled by Mumsie and Popsie, as usual! The highlight of present opening for me was Ashley Parker Angel's personal Christmas greeting for me, courtesy of my Secret Santa, Chris. I was obsessed with O-Town and will always remember this hilarious and special gift!
The kids sprinkled reindeer food outside and left cookies and milk for Santa, then...Santa came!!!
This was the first Christmas Day that we spent at home all day doing nothing except playing with the kids' new toys. Mumsie, Popsie, Thomas, and Rebecca came over for Christmas breakfast, and Mumsie and Popsie came back for Christmas dinner. But we were in pajamas all day, and it was the best!
Cheers to a year that brought us closer as a family and gave us the priceless gift of so much time together! Happy New Year!!!
