We have been going to Little Gym once a week since October. Perry LOVES it! Her favorite activities at Little Gym are playing with the balls, bubble time, hanging on the bar, and walking on the balance beam. Every time I tell her we are going to Little Gym, she raises her eyebrows and excitedly says "Balls! Bubbles!". Over the weeks and months, she has learned exactly what is coming next in class and is ALWAYS the first one eagerly waiting and ready to go for the next activity. It's so cute. Her teacher, Miss Piri, always says Perry could teach the class! Next week is our last week at this location since we are moving. We will miss our little friends and Miss Piri so much!

6 things about Perry
I wanted to jot down a few cute things about Perry right now that I want to remember!
1. She says "all wet" when she's dirty. I think it started when we went to the park one day after it had been raining, and I told her we needed to go because she was getting "all wet". So now she says it any time her hands or feet get dirty. :)
2. She says "yep" all the time now, usually really loudly and proudly when she answers a question. It's adorable!
3. She LOVES her cousins, especially Rhett! She is her silliest and loudest self when he's around, and no one makes her laugh like he does. Those two will have so much fun together!
4. She has to have her baby doll when we read books before nap or bed, and she lays baby down on the ottoman in her room to go to sleep while she sleeps. The first thing she does when I get her after a nap or in the morning is point to the baby and say "baby nap". Her baby doll is by far her favorite toy.
5. She loves going places - anywhere! We never have to argue with her to get her out of the house and get in the car. She grabs her bappies, water cup, and walks right out!
6. She says "helpie mommy" (help me mommy) when she can't do something (which is very often throughout the day). I can't get enough.
And here are a few pictures of her lately to round out the post!

Baby #2 coming soon!
We are so thrilled to announce that baby #2 is coming late July!!!
We found out around Thanksgiving while John's family was staying with us, and we decided to hide it from them for the time being. I thought for sure someone would make a comment about how I was all of a sudden not drinking wine! We got to see our little blessing at our first appointment the second week of December.
My mom and sister found out on our NYC trip - because my sister asked. :) I knew it would come up at some point, and I knew I wouldn't be able to hide it! But I was relieved that someone knew my secret! We told the rest of my family when we celebrated our early Christmas. We put a "Big Sister" shirt on Perry and waited for someone to see it. We had to kind of "encourage" my dad to notice, haha!
We told John's family when we got to Wisconsin for Christmas. We used the same trick and put the "Big Sister" shirt on Perry once we arrived at their house. John's mom noticed right away!
I think Perry is going to be the best big sister! She loooooves baby dolls, and she always shows a great interest in babies whenever she sees them (I feel like more than other kids do). But she is also used to getting ALL of the attention at home and everywhere she goes. She has a hard time sharing her mommy and daddy with other babies/kids, so that worries me slightly. But I'm sure that is all normal! I really do think she's going to love having a baby brother/sister! We are going to keep the gender a secret again (we think) ;)
We had a other ultrasound at 12 weeks because she couldn't find the heartbeat on the Doppler (this happened last time, too). The baby actually looked like a baby this time, so it was really fun to see!
We can't wait to meet you on July 29th, sweet baby!!!

Catch up picture post
I am not good about posting regularly (maybe because we aren't very exciting these days!), so I thought I'd do a quick "catch up picture post" from the last month or so!
We played with friends, we went to the zoo, we celebrated birthdays, we visited friends in Dallas, and had lots of ordinary days - my favorite kind of days. :)
This cheesy smile gets me every time...
These two laugh harder together than with anyone else! Perry loves her little friend Corban, and I sure am grateful for his momma!
Happy 60th birthday to Mumsie, and happy 35th birthday to Chris!!!
We went to Dallas for the weekend to visit our friends Greg and Tricia and meet their new baby, Sawyer! Perry had fun playing with "Nana" (Savannah) and "Baby" (Sawyer). We also got to see my bestie Libby and her husband, Aaron!
Perry and I had no plans one Friday morning, so we decided to take a trip to the zoo! We got there when it opened at 9, and there was NO ONE there. It was awesome! Her favorite was the cougar. She kept chasing it back and forth and saying "Meow!" :)
I sure love spending my days with Miss Perry Frances!
